Suggestions to change the visibile scope of posts

When posting something, for the visible range, you may be worried that a colleague will miss the post, or that too many colleagues will see irrelevant information. For this, we give the following suggestions.

  • First, you need to figure out if the information has some need for confidentiality and if it needs to be shared within a specific department or group. If so, it should be shared within a specific private group.

  • If the information does not require confidentiality, it can be shared in one or more groups of your choice, or simply shared with all colleagues, based on the principle of relevance. Also, "all colleagues" means all members of the company.

  • If you have a clear direction for sharing certain information that you specifically want a colleague or group to see, you can mention a colleague or group as needed when posting.

  • When some information is not meant to be shared but should only be sent to a specific colleague, you should start a private chat with that colleague or send an email. Also, there is a special sharing scope: Myself. When posting, if you select "Myself" and mention a colleague in the post, it is the same as sending a private message.
