FAQs
About signup and login
Q1: I have enabled login via WeChat and authorized, why still need my mobile phone number and verification code?
External users create accounts based on phone numbers, and the phone number bound to WeChat may no longer be used, so the phone number and verification code are still required after the first authorization and login. After this, the mobile number and WeChat account are bound together and you can scan the QR code to log in directly.
Q2: If I signed up external users of multiple apps, is it considered as one account or multiple?
It is considered as multiple accounts and takes up multiple charging slots if paid.
Q3: Can all applications be bound to one WeChat service account?
All apps in the organization are bound to the same service account. A service account can be bound to only one organization.
Q4: How can I log in via WeChat after binding service accounts?
You can embed the link of the external portal into the menu bar of the service account, and users can login by clicking it. In short, users can log in anytime they have the QR code or link.
Q5: Do I have to follow the service account before I can scan the QR code via WeChat to log in?
No. You just need to authorize when scanning the QR code. If you want to receive WeChat notification messages, you have to follow the service account.
Q6: Can external users scan QR code on PC browser to log in via WeChat?
Yes, of course.
Q7: What if I join multiple external portals?
After logging into one application, if you want to switch applications, you need to directly scan the QR code of another application to log in.
Q8: How to send WeChat notifications to users via service account?
