Basic Operations for Posting


The basic operations for posting are

  • Post

  • Reply to other people's posts, like or favorite other people's posts, or add tags to posts

  • Delete or edit a post, or modify the sharing range of a post

  • Stick a post to top

1. Post

As shown below

Visible to

  • If a group is selected, the post will be visible only to group members.

  • If you select all colleagues, the post will be visible to all colleagues in the organization.

  • You can select multiple groups, and the visible range is a concatenation of the selected groups.

  • If you select [Myself], the post is visible only to yourself. You can mention a colleague or a group in a post or in a reply. You can modify the visible range of the post.

2. Reply/Favorite/Like/Add Tags

  • After liking a post, he/she will receive a notification message.

  • After favoriting a post, you can view it in [Starred] in the left navigation bar.

  • After adding a tag to a post, click the tag to view the posts related to this tag.

3. Delete/modify posts or modify the visible range of posts

  • Delete a post: The person who posted it and Super Admin who can see this post can delete it. After deletion, the post cannot be restored!

  • Modify a post: Only the person who published it can edit the post.

  • Modify sharing range: Only the person who posted it and Super Admin who can see it can modify the sharing range of the post.

4. Stick a post to top

Only Super Admin and Account Admin have permission to stick a post to top:

  • Post something and set it to visible to all colleagues. Everyone in the organization can post.

  • After posting, click [...] in the upper right corner of the post and select [Set top]. Only Super Admin and Account Admin have permission to operate.

  • After sticking a post to top, colleagues can see the post at the top after logging in.

Example

1. The selected visible scope must include all colleagues in the organization.

Tips: Even if the group created is [XXX All Groups], [XXX All Employees], it is still a closed group, not a system-wide scope.

2. Click [...] in the upper right corner of the post and select [Set top].

3. Stick to top

After sticking a post to top, colleagues will receive a notification message. After logging in, colleagues can see the post at the top.

4. Remove from top

Only Super Admin and broadcaster can remove a post from the top.

About permissions

Admins enter the permission management page, add members to the target role, and the assigned colleague can get the permission to stick a post to top.
